This article outlines the steps to create a Bulk Purchase Order in the system. Once a Bulk Job has been created, you can proceed to generate Bulk Purchase Orders associated with that job to streamline procurement activities.
PURPOSE
To guide users through the process of creating a Bulk Purchase Order in Sync, enabling effective material procurement linked to bulk jobs.

- Structured Procurement: Ensures purchase orders are correctly linked to the appropriate Bulk Job.
- Efficiency: Reduces time and manual effort in raising POs for repeat or high-volume material needs.
- Flexibility: Allows users to customize each PO by selecting relevant Bill of Materials items.
FOLLOW STEPS BELOW:
1. From within the Sync Toolbar, Click on ‘New’
2. Select ‘Purchase Order’
3. Within the ‘New Purchase Order’ Window, complete the required fields, i.e., Division, Vendor, Ship Date and Due Date
4. Tick ‘Bulk PO’
5. If applicable, Select a ‘Process’
6. Click ‘Ok’
7. If there are items within the ‘Bill of Materials’ that you want to add to the same Bulk PO, drag the item into the ‘Line Item’ section or Click on ‘Show Bill of Materials’ to hide window
8. Click on the ‘Add’ Icon
9. Search for and Select the applicable ‘Bulk Job’
10. Within the ‘Search Cost Sub-Types’ Window apply relevant filters
11. Capture a search criteria and click search
12. Select item to be added to the Purchase Order
13. Within the ‘SPO Item Window’, capture the ‘Colour’, ‘Description’ and ‘Units’
14. Click ‘Close’
15. Repeat steps 8-14 for any additional item that needs to be added to the Purchase order
16. Click on ‘Status’
17. Select Applicable Status and Click ‘Yes’
18. Click ‘Print’ to Print, Email or Export the ‘Purchase Oder Report
