Overview

The Admin Portal serves as the core configuration and control center for all foundational data and system settings. It is accessible only to users with appropriate role permissions, ensuring that sensitive data and structural configurations remain secure.


The Admin Area allows authorized users to:

  • Define and maintain the master data 

  • Standardize key variable attributes 

  • Configure custom settings/ values 


Access Control

Access to the Admin Area is role-based:

  • Each user’s visibility and editing rights are determined by their assigned user role.

  • Permissions ensure data integrity and prevent unauthorized configuration changes.

CMT Operations & Templates

Create & manage CMT operations, minutes & rates which can then be applied efficiently to Styles


Cost Types

View pre-configured Cost Types as well as add & manage cost sub types used to define granular breakdowns of cost structures (e.g., labor, materials, overhead, shipping). 

*Cost Types are typically configured at Implementation, but changes can be requests though Sync support.


Custom Fields

View pre-configured Custom Fields as well as add & manage custom field values. Typically used for further defining/ classifying Styles/ PO's/ PPO's/ Sales orders/ invoices etc.


Customers

View, add & manage end customers including specification of accounting details, Sales Reps, & address details.


Divisions

View pre-configured Division as well as specify which CMT Templates are associated with each division.


Look Up's

View & manage Look-Up values


Closing Dates

View financial closing dates & add new to specify your closed periods. Typically align to your financial system & prevent backdating of movements into closed periods.


Closing Dates

View, add & manage color library defining color attributes as well as which colors are available for use in Styles, cost details & Logos.


Countries

View, add & manage country library defining countries which can be used in address details of orders, vendor, customers etc. 


Ex Rates

View, add & manage ex Rates for multiple currencies per Season (Variable field 1)


Product Types

View, add & manage Product Types which can then be used in Style specification.


Sizes

View, add & manage Size library specifying which sizes are available to be used in Style specification.


Variable Fields

View pre-configured Variable fields (Season, Department, Category, Class) as well as manage fields values which can then be applied to Styles.


Mobile Sales

Manage Styles/ Products published to Sync B2B including if products can/ cannot be oversold.


Non- Working Periods

View, add & manage annual shut down periods or other holidays which should be accounted for in Sync Critical Path/ Task line or Production Planning Boards.


Pending Buyers

View & manage pending Customer Buyers whose accounts are waiting for activation. This is primarily for customer buyers who have self-created an account through Sync B2B.


QA Specifications & Templates

Create & manage QA Measurement Specifications & Templates, which can then be added to styles.


Rep Codes

View, add & manage Rep codes to specify the default and/ or special discount & commission to be applied on orders. This is typically defined per Rep, per customer, per 'Category' level (Variable Field 3)


Sub Customers

View, add & manage Sub Customers details and specify which main Customer they are linked to for accounting purposes.


Vendors

View, add & manage vendors/ suppliers including specification of accounting details & address details.


Warehouses

View, add & manage warehouse locations/ areas.
