This article outlines the steps to create a Credit Note for a Stock Sale.


PURPOSE

This function enables users to credit a previously processed Stock Sale, when required.

  • Flexible and fast process using non-stock item type

 

FOLLOW STEPS BELOW:

 

1. Click 'New'

2. Select 'Credit Note'

3. Select 'Customer' or 'Sub Customer'

4. Use search to find and select desired customer/sub customer

5. Click Select

6. Enter a Comment

7. Click up arrow to minimize credit note header

8.  Click coin icon to add non-stock item

9.  Select non-stock type from dropdown e.g. Stock Sale

10. Search and select desired sales rep

11. Click binoculars icon to select Job to link non-stock item to

12. Enter units

13. Enter local price

14. Enter reference

15. Enter comment

16. Click OK

18. Click Complete

 

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Ensure that the Non-Stock Type is set to "Stock Sale" to reflect the correct transaction type. If ‘Stock Sale does not exist, contact support to add.
