The article outlines the steps to Configure Vendors
PURPOSE
To provide clear instructions on how to configure vendors for production use within the system.

- Streamlines vendor selection for production-related tasks.
FOLLOW STEPS BELOW:
1. In the Sync Homepage, CLICK on File, Select ‘Admin Portal’
2. Select Vendors
3. Search for the relevant Vendor
4. Double Click on the Vendor to open the Vendor window
5. Dropdown within the 'Production' Field and select the Production Start Date
ADDITIONAL NOTES
Ensure all vendor data is accurate before marking as a production vendor.
Only users with appropriate access can make changes within Admin.
A production vendor cannot be marked as inactive/non-production if they have any current or future production items on the Production Board.
The system will display a warning if the vendor is still actively linked to production items.
To proceed with deactivation:
First, remove all associated production items from the Production Board.
Once cleared, you can mark the vendor as inactive or non-production.
When successfully marked as inactive/non-production, the vendor will be automatically removed from the Production Board.
