This article outlines the steps required to set or update the Stock Item Location on an Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) within Sync. This is a critical step in preparing for incoming goods and optimizing warehouse operations.
PURPOSE
To enable users to assign a physical warehouse location for each stock item listed on an ASN before the stock is received.

FOLLOW STEPS BELOW:
1. Click on ‘Search’
2. Select ‘Stock ASN’
3. Enter the Stock ASN Number or relevant search criteria
4. Click ‘Search’
5. Click ‘Select’
6. Edit the Warehouse (If Required)
7. Click on the … within the location field OR Click on 'Set Location'
8. Within the ‘Warehouse Map Selector’ Window, Click on the applicable Location
9. Click ‘Accept’
10. Right Click and Copy to ‘All’
ADDITIONAL NOTES
If an incorrect location was selected, right-click on the Location field and use the ‘Clear All’ function to remove all locations and reselect the correct ones for each line item.
