This article outlines the steps to delete a Sales Order Line Item from the Navigation section in Sync. This area offers a detailed, centralized interface with access to advanced Sales Order features.

 

PURPOSE

To enable users to manage and modify Sales Orders directly from the Navigation panel, where more advanced options and configuration settings are available.

FOLLOW STEPS BELOW:

 

1. From Navigation, Click on ‘Sales’

2. Click on ‘Sales Orders’

3. Within the ‘Sales Order’ Window, apply filters e.g. Order Type, Status, Category, Customer

4. Select a Search Criteria e.g. Sales#

5. Capture a Search Criteria

6. If applicable, click on the ‘Advanced Filter Mode’

7. Select an additional Search Criteria

8. Click ‘Search’

9. Double Click to Open Sales Order

10. Click on ‘Status’ and Select ‘Editing’

11. When prompted, Select ‘Yes’ to change Status

12. Click on the Sales Order Line Item to be deleted

13. Click on the ‘Delete’ button i.e. Red X

 

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Role-Based Permissions control whether a user can edit or delete sales orders. Ensure appropriate access is granted.

Only delete a line item if it was added incorrectly.

If a line item has been cancelled, do not delete it. Instead, use the cancel feature.
