This article outlines a clear, step-by-step process to create a picking requisition by Job/Style.
PURPOSE
The purpose of this function is to enable users to create a picking requisition that groups and picks items across multiple sales orders associated with a specific Job or Style.
KEY BENEFITS
- Batch-Based Picking Efficiency: Streamlines the picking process by grouping sales orders under a single Job/Style.
- Reduces Redundant Effort: Eliminates the need to generate separate picking slips for each sales order.
- Improves Fulfillment Accuracy: Ensures items related to the same style are picked together, reducing handling errors.
- Supports Partial Picking and Backorders: Enables picking of available sizes while managing out-of-stock items through backorder functionality.
FOLLOW STEPS BELOW:
1. From the Sync Homepage, Click on ‘New’
2. Select ‘Product Picking’
3. Select ‘Pick’
4. Select ‘By Job’
5. Within the ‘Search Sales Order’ Window, search for and select the Sales Order to be picked
6. Within the ‘Warehouse Picker’ window, click on the warehouse to pick from.
- Note if only one warehouse this is auto selected in ‘Yellow’
7. Click on ’Auto allocate’
8. Click on ‘Pick All’
9. Click on ‘Create Picking Slip’
10. When prompted, Select ‘Yes or No’ to print Picking Slip
ADDITIONAL NOTES
If stock is unavailable for a particular size but you still wish to pick available sizes, ‘Click the ‘Breakline’ button before selecting Auto Allocate.
If you conduct a part pick and want to dispatch remaining units later, toggle ‘BOrd’ to create a backorder line item for the unfulfilled units
