This article outlines the steps required to 'Unallocate' material stock from within an In-Header in Sync.
PURPOSE
This function is used when material stock has been GRV’d (Goods Received Voucher) against a Job-specific Purchase Order, but is no longer required for that particular Job or Style. It may also be used when stock received for one Style is now required for a different Job or Style. Unallocating the stock returns it to general availability, allowing for flexible reallocation based on current operational needs.
KEY BENEFITS
Improved Stock Flexibility: Frees up materials for use across multiple Jobs or Styles.
Reduced Waste: Prevents excess or obsolete stock from being locked to unused allocations.
Enhanced Inventory Accuracy: Ensures stock is allocated where it’s actually needed.
Streamlined Operations: Supports agile production planning and responsiveness to change.
FOLLOW STEPS BELOW:
1. From withing the ‘In-Header’ Window, multi select stock items
2. Right Click and Select ‘Allocation’
3. Select ‘Unallocated’
