The article outlines the steps required to view Product Cost Snapshots. A cost snapshot provides a history of a costing at different life stages of a job. This allows for comparisons of a job’s costings. This function is linked to a specific job status. When the status of the job is changed to that specific status, a snapshot will be taken of the current costing and can later be viewed by following the steps below.
FOLLOW STEPS BELOW:
- Within Product Costing, search for the relevant Job/Style.
- Right Click and select 'Edit Product'
- Click Snapshot Viewer at the top
- Click Next to cycle through the available Snapshots or select View by Status to view the snapshot taken of a specific status.
