The article outlines the steps required to view Product Cost Snapshots.  A cost snapshot provides a history of a costing at different life stages of a job. This allows for comparisons of a job’s costings. This function is linked to a specific job status.  When the status of the job is changed to that specific status, a snapshot will be taken of the current costing and can later be viewed by following the steps below.

 

FOLLOW STEPS BELOW:

 

  1. Within Product Costing, search for the relevant Job/Style.
  2. Right Click and select 'Edit Product'
  3. Click Snapshot Viewer at the top
  4. Click Next to cycle through the available Snapshots or select View by Status to view the snapshot taken of a specific status.
