The article outlines the steps to Navigate the Sync Homepage.
FOLLOW STEPS BELOW:
1. Click on Homescreen Menu to access more functions like password management, login out, reloading ect
2. Click through available Homescreen functions like view management, tolls & help
3. Click on Ribbon Toolbar functions like 'new', 'Search', 'Reports'
4. Click through to expand Navigation Pane menu items
5. Click on Recent Items to reopen
*Certain functions are permissions based and may not be accessible or visible to your user role
*Certain features & functions may not been enabled by your Sync instance and therefore not accessible or visible to your user role

Sync Home Menu
1. Set Password: change your user password from current, if you forget your current password log a support ticket for assistance
2. Admin Portal (permission based): access admin functionality that your user role has permission to
3. About: view user, connection & Sync version information
4. Reload: clear session cache
5. Log Out: log out of Sync, this will automatically reopen the Sync login screen
6. Exit: exit Sync
Sync Home Functions
1. Home: click to go back to the Sync Home
2. View: personalise your Sync view/theme
3. Tools: access tools
- Custom Field Maintenance: bulk update custom fields on jobs, products, customers, invoices, PPO's, SO's etc.
- Assign Pick Tickets: assign pick tickets to specified users
- Order Maintenance: batch cancel sales orders
- Process Step Maintenance: update fixed task dates and reassign tasks to new users
- Warehouse Areas: view warehouse maps & print individual locations
- Set Label Printer: configure barcode printer
- Pinned Reports: specify often used reports & lock them to Sync home
- Delete Cache: delete Image, report and document files
4. Help: click to access
- Log Ticket: click to log a support ticket through Sync Support
- FAQ's: click to access Sync FAQ's
- Download TeamViewer: click to download Teamviewer to enable remote access Support
Ribbon Toolbar Functions
1. New: click to create new jobs, orders, PO's, PPO's, stock movements, invoices or credit Notes
2. Search: click to open any available search window in Sync
3. Reports: click to view available reports
4. Close All: click to close all open Sync Home tabs
5. Sync Today: click to view Sync Today dashboard report
6. Product Costing: click to open the Product Costing tab and view job/ product details (Quick Costing)
7. Product Catalogue: click to open the Product Catalogue tab
8. Product PO's: click to open the PPO tab and view line-item details
9. Sales Orders: click to open the Sales Order tab and view line-item details
10. Product Stock: Click to open the Product Stock process flow diagram and then click through to functions
11. Production Planner: click to open the Production Planning Board
12. Pinned Reports: click to open any pinned reports
Navigation Pane Functions/Views
1. Search: type text to search for menu item
2. Home: click to access Sync Today dashboard & My Tasks tab
3. Reports: click through to view available reports
4. Dashboards: click to view available dashboards
5. Products: click to open Products Menu and access templates, cost sheets, Product Costing, Catalogue, Quality Audits ect
6. X-References: click to open X Reference menu and access items, UPC's
7. Sales: click to open Sales Order menu and access SO's, line items, & sales dashboards
8. Purchase Orders: click to open Purchase Order menu and access PO's
9. Material Stock: click to open Material Stock menu and access Stock process flow, ASN's, Stock, Unpicked Stock, Delivery Notes etc.
10. Product Purchasing: click to open Product Purchasing menu and access Product PO's
11. Product Stock: click to open Product Stock menu and access Stock process flow, Inbound Shipmens, Stock, Unpicked Stock, Shipments etc.
12. Drop Zone: click to open Drop Zone, view & drop files
