The article outlines how to use the Totals icon in Sync display windows .
FOLLOW STEPS BELOW:
1. To access totals summaries for a particular window, click the “Totals” button. This will generate an empty bar underneath the columns in the window.
2. Right clicking the space underneath the column will allow you to access the summary operations for that column. (See summary operation table below for operation details)
3. Once an operation is chosen you can right click the generated field and change the mode between “All Rows”, “Selection” and “Mixed”.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
Operation | Text Field | Date Field | Numerical Field |
Min | Displays the value starting with minimum Alphabetic character | Displays the earliest date value in the column | Displays the lowest numerical value. |
Max | Displays the value starting with maximum Alphabetic character | Displays the latest date value in the column | Displays the highest numerical value. |

- If there are any blank fields or fields starting with special characters (blank spaces and symbols) in this column one of those will be regarded as the minimum with a precedence towards blank spaces.
- The only values used for the summary operations are the currently displayed values in the window.
- Summary operation default mode is set to “All Rows”
- “Selection” mode applies the summary operation to only the selected rows and will be empty if less than 2 rows are selected, with the exception to this being the “Sum” operation.
- “Mixed” mode applies the summary operation to only the selected rows and will apply the operation to all rows if less than 2 rows are selected.
