This article outlines how a user can add and edit the variable fields in Sync. 

 

FOLLOW STEPS BELOW:

 

  1. Click on the 'File' and open the 'Admin Portal'.
  2. Click on 'Lookups' 
  3. Click on 'Variable Fields'.
  4. Double-click the name to rename the Variable Field.
  5. Selecting a Variable Field will open the options on the right.
  6. Highlight that option and click the red cross at the top of the window to delete it.
  7. Double-click to rename the option.
  8. Click the green plus to add a new option.


Note:

Once an option has been added to a job, it cannot be deleted and needs to be deactivated instead.
Variable Fields default to Season, Department, Category, and Class in Sync.
Users will need to have the 'Modify Variable Field Lookup Values' permission in Sync.
