The article outlines the steps required to allocate received stock to a specified job. You will first need to complete the initial GRV and then follow the below steps in the In Header window.
*Allocating stock to a specified job locks that stock to the job for picking.
FOLLOW STEPS BELOW:
1. In the in Header window, right click on the required stock line
2. Select 'Allocation' from the right click menu
3. Choose:
- Original Job: allocate stock to the original job on the PO
- Other Job: allocate stock to an other job
4. Search for and double click to select the required job
5. Click 'Yes' to confirm allocation
* Selected Job number will show in the Job# column and stock is now locked to that job for picking
* Unallocate stock if no longer required for that job
