This article outlines the steps Sync B2B users should follow to set up Sync B2B with your brands & products on Implementation.

Note:

When first logging into Sync B2B it is likely that the Login Page & homepage will be blank. This will be corrected by completing steps 1-4 below.

The below error may also display on your B2B Homepage. This error will resolve once you have completed step 5 below.

'An Exception occurred while querying the repository: Expression expected (at index 20)'



Steps to follow in setting up B2B for the first time

*This is not an exhaustive list but will result in B2B being function at a base level.


1. Login To B2B

2. Add an Image to customise your B2B login screen background

3. Add your logo to customise your B2B login screen logo

4. Configure division template for your brand/ brands

5. Flag products for Mobile sales/make products available for B2B (to resolve the above-mentioned expression error)

6. Add images to Styles- through Sync ERP (Images greatly enhance the B2B users experience)

7. Set up MobileSalesUnits sTask to run



To enhance your B2B site & user experience complete the below steps:

1. Add design elements to your Division Templates- this acts as your division landing page for users

2. Create presentation/ collections & add products

3. Adjust B2B Product settings. Check settings based on business requirements like presales/ stock sales

    Limit order QTY

3. Create whiteboards


To set up customer buyers complete the below steps

*Sync support will need to set up your buyer roles in sync. Log a support ticket for further assistance.

Buyer roles will determine which brands/ division buyers have permission to access in B2B. You can also specify if buyers have the ability to create and approve their own orders.


1. Customise buyer activation emails. This is not required but allows you to specify the email content buyers receive on activating their accounts- else the defaults will apply.

2. Create buyer accounts, import buyer accounts or have buyers create their own accounts

3. Approve pending buyer accounts

4. Assign customers/ presentations to buyers
