Error:
Once a user switches to the New Outlook, emailing documents from within Sync will result in the below error:
Solution:
1. In the new Outlook interface, you will need to select the toggle in the top right of the screen as seen below to switch back to the old version of Outlook:
2. You will know that you are in the old Outlook when the toggle in the top right appears as below:
3. You will need to close and reopen Sync, then try emailing a report once more.
A new email should now open up in Outlook with the report attached to it.
Office 365 Quick Repair:
If this error persists, you will need to complete a Quick Repair on Office 365.
It is recommended that you reach out to your IT Team to assist with this process.
1. Click on the windows button and search for Apps & Features:
2. Search for the relevant 365 program and click on Modify.
If prompted for User Access Control, select Yes.
3. Select the Quick Repair option and let this run.
If this does not work, repeat the same process but try using the Online Repair option.
Please note that the Online Repair option might uninstall the Microsoft Office applications from your PC and you will then be required to reinstall these, so we recommend this option to be done only if the above two methods do not work.
